Questions

Have a question? We’ve got the answer

1. What are the space requirements?

All backdrops are 8 ft x 8 ft and must be set up on a level, stable, solid surface.

The Photo Booth will be positioned approximately 8 feet from the backdrop to ensure optimal photo quality and spacing.

2. Does the photobooth require electricity?

Yes, we will need access to an electricity

3. Does the photobooth require WIFI?

Access to a reliable Wi-Fi connection is required for Photo Booth operation. If your venue does not provide Wi-Fi, we can supply a dedicated connection for an additional fee of $150

4. Is Inizio Photo Booth insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and we can provide a COI upon request.

5. When do you arrive for load in and setup?

For Photo Booth rentals that include printing, our team will arrive 60–90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to complete setup. For digital-only Photo Booth rentals, we will arrive approximately 45 minutes prior to the start time.

If earlier arrival or extended setup time is required, or if the Photo Booth is requested to remain idle before the scheduled start time, this may be arranged for an additional fee and is subject to availability.

6. Can I have a photobooth at an outdoor event?

For outdoor events, a covered area, tent, or canopy must be provided by the Client. The setup space must be level, stable, and on a solid surface. The Photo Booth cannot be installed on sand, dirt, or grass.

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure safe and adequate access to the setup location. The Photo Booth may be placed outdoors only if it is fully protected from weather conditions, including direct sunlight. A canopy or other appropriate protective covering or shielding is required at all times.

Please note that outdoor environments may present lighting limitations beyond our control, which may impact the quality of photo outputs.

In the event that weather conditions pose a risk to equipment or personnel, we reserve the right to refuse setup or to discontinue services early. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

7. Where is the ideal photo booth placement?

The Photo Booth should be positioned in a high-traffic area where guests can easily see and access it. Ideal locations include near the bar, along the perimeter of the dance floor, or in pathways with consistent guest flow, such as near restrooms or main walkways.

8. What are the requirements for reserving a photo booth?

A signed agreement and deposit are required to reserve the event date and time. All reservations are subject to availability, and requested changes to the scheduled time may be accommodated at our discretion.

The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due in full no later than 30 days prior to the event date.

9. How soon should I reserve my photo booth?

Photo Booth rentals are subject to availability. To secure your preferred event date, we recommend booking as early as possible, as most weekends are typically fully booked up to three months in advance.

We may accept bookings up to five (5) days prior to the event date, subject to availability.

10. What if I have to cancel my event?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your event, written notice is required.

Cancellations made more than twenty (20) days prior to the scheduled event start time will receive a refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made less than twenty (20) days prior to the event start time will not be eligible for any refund.

11. Can the photo booth operation hours be extended?

Yes! Additional operating hours may be added to your Photo Booth reservation at any time prior to your event date, subject to availability. Additional hours will be billed at an extra cost, which varies depending on the selected package.

12. Can I add additional time during my event?

Additional time may be requested during the event, subject to the availability of the Photo Booth and attendant.

Any additional hours will be billed at an extra cost, and payment must be made at the event prior to extending service.

13. Is there a travel fee?

There is no travel fee for events located within San Jose, CA and surrounding cities in the Silicon Valley area.

A travel fee will apply to events located outside of this service area within California.

14. Can the photo template design be customized?

Yes! Once your booking is secured, we will collaborate with you on your design and provide an initial draft along with one round of revisions. Any additional revisions beyond the included round will be subject to an additional fee.

15. What are the backdrop options?

Please view our backdrop page to explore available options. All backdrops are subject to availability.

16. Are there design options for branding and corporate events?

Yes! We work closely with you to fully customize your Photo Booth experience, including branded photo templates, custom props, personalized backdrops, and more to align with your event and brand identity.

17. Can I add props??

Select packages include props at no additional cost. For packages that do not include props, prop sign bundles are available as an add-on for an additional fee.

We also offer custom cut-out prop signs, which can be created for an additional charge to match your event theme.

18. Can I provide my own backdrop or props?

Yes, client-provided backdrops are welcome; however, please notify us in advance.

For best results, we recommend a fabric backdrop with minimum dimensions of 5 ft wide by 7 ft tall. Any logos or key design elements should be positioned at eye level. Vinyl backdrops are not recommended due to potential glare and quality issues.

Please note that our team does not assemble or construct client-provided backdrops.

19. Can I design my own template?

Yes! We will provide you with the template file and design specifications so you can create your own layout and send it back to us for use at your event.

All photos taken at your event will be shared with you after the event via a Google Drive link or as a downloadable ZIP file.

You can expect to receive your event photo gallery via email within 3 business days after your event.

22. How long will Inizio Photo Booth store my event photos?

Your online gallery will remain available for six (6) months. We strongly recommend downloading your photos as soon as possible and storing them in a safe location for long-term access.
